This is Salsa!
Salsa is more energetic, playful and flirtatious. Partners dance further apart with lots of quick turns and footwork danced to faster tempo music.
...and this is Bachata!
Bachata is slower, sexier, and more sensual, generally danced hip-to-hip with more upper body movement.

05/15/2021The location is quite central and the instructors here are passionate about latin dancing. The practicas on Friday and Saturday are really nice with two dancing rooms. Also, they organize big monthly social events that are quite fun. All in all, I enjoy the vibe here.

Didn't regret attending this school at all.😍😍 Friendly and helpful instructors and I'm already planning to complete all levels of Salsa and Bachata. Just like Gary (the founding father of En Motion) says, All you need is to have fun than worrying so much about the moves. All are welcomed regardless of age or background. A great place for total beginners (like me) to pick up some Latin dance movements. The classes are arranged in a systematic way so that I can have an overview of my progress easily. Instructors are super fun and cheerful and the studio has a nice vibe that makes me always want to go dancing every week. Never have I ever thought I could enjoy dancing so much until I started the journey with them:)

The dances are fun, the instructors are skilled, enthusiastic, funny and make the whole learning experience extremely enjoyable and easy to follow. The instructors are really one of their strong selling points - just so amazing, fun and approachable. I always look forward to attending the classes every week and to learn new styles and techniques. The classes are well structured and with the open classes/practicas in place, we are always learning new things! Love this place so much!

Happy Place with awesome people in charge of it. Super cool teachers who can tech you Latino dance (most of the styles) and take care of your mood. Love the energy at the studio, always happy to be part of it! Vivien is pure grace, Gary is the guru of the teaching, demanding but not pushy 😀

04/15/2024Hubby and I had zero dance background when we first enrolled into En Motion studio. We were so so blessed to have Joshua Yao as our personal instructor for our wedding First Dance. He was very meticulous and honest with our performances. He drilled us incessantly and ensured that we will not end up as trolls. We really enjoyed ourselves, despite the wedding stress! Our dance scored some compliments. I am even more proud to hear from our guests that my super stiff husband can dance well!!! Unknowingly, Josh ignited our passion for dance. Post - wedding, we continued our group class with JJ and Vivi. This power duo are fun and great dance teachers! We highly recommend En Motion studio!

09/15/2023I was always loved to learn salsa dancing but in my country people like me have less opportunities. therefor it was always in my bucket list. But after migrating to Singapore and joining with En Motion academy i was so happy and excited at the same time to learn salsa. I completed level one and i am very happy about the way they teach us and their patience. They pay equal attention to all the students and treat everybody in the same manner. I would recommend the academy to any of my friends who loves dancing. Also the instructors are very friendly which is good. Good luck En Motion!!!

Been to other studios for trial and decided to learn social dance here, easily accessible, one of the more economical studios; and very well lit with great sound systems. However, the highlight here are the amazing and friendly instructors who make learning dances fun! Highly recommended for anyone keen to learn social dancing!

11/15/2023I went for the salsa trial and level 1 course and fell in love with the dance style. Gary, Z, and yeowhui are amazing instructors who made the sessions so engaging and fun to follow, even for someone without a dance background at all. Can't wait to try bachata soon :)

This is my second month dancing with EM and it has been a great experience so far. I have attended several classes by different instructors and they ensured that everyone feels included. Quality of instructors is also quite consistent which ensured that quality is maintained across all classes. Instructors are also dedicated in teaching, as seen from how they go beyond the mile to respond to students' queries after class. Classes are well planned, whereby new moves are introduced every lesson. During class, instructors go around correcting students' moves which is of great help esp for beginners. They create a safe platform to lesrn as they wun "scold" us for not doing a move right or asking questions. We are also allowed to film a dance review video at the end of each lesson which we can use to practise at home. This is very useful to catchup. Group chats are created to share such videos. Feedback provided by students is also taken seriously by the sch. Socials (a platform for students across all levels ti dance together) held wkly are fun even for beginner students as many advanced dancers (leads) are willing to dance with us and we can learn more from them. Socials also serve as a good platform to apply what we learn in class and hone our dance skills. Also, the sch holds wkend open classes at an additional fee where we can learn new moves and improve further. Overall, this dance sch stands out for being nurturing and conducive to beginners. Also, the sch has a strong dance community where most people are open to getting to know each other and most are understanding of each other's dance proficiency, which makes it comfortable to learn dance here.
